Poets Walk, Central Park, The Mall, Literary Walk, it is New Yorks most photographed landscape. During my visit in 2012 Central Park was my first photograph taken in this New York collection series. The image was taken during Autumn only days before Hurricane Sandy swept throughout the city causing havoc and destruction. I was fortunate to have had the luxury of spending 2 weeks photographing the city prior to the storm. The park was closed soon after the storm and no further additions were added to the collection.

To finish this photograph I was left with the challenge of framing it. The frame needed to match the colours, it needed to match the texture of the trees, the park benches, the pathway and most of all it needed to be unique.
