Great Ocean Road Photography Tours

With the rise of popularity in photography visiting the Great Ocean Road in Victoria is surely a must for many visitors and tourists. The many photographs visitors see advertised doesn't always guarantee a similar outcome when they arrive at these locations and for many this is a great disappointment. It is more common than not that the conditions at these monolithic landmarks are usually grey and gloomy and rarely will a visitor be greeted with ideal lighting conditions. Your chances of a great photo are even further diminished when you arrive on location in the middle of the day with bus loads of tourists and crowds.
To have some hope of capturing the beauty of these iconic limestone stacks one must make the effort of getting up early, in fact getting up very very early will give you a better chance of capturing this location in the early morning light and without the crowds. The mornings are favourable as with the evenings you are once again struggling with the crowds.
Knowing where to go, how to get there, where to park and which direction to face can be challenging. Yes these locations are sign posted and visible to the visitor but the car parks and viewing platforms can also restrict your chances of a unique perspective.

Although it is not advised and encouraged to wander on your own as there are dangers present when tempted to find a unique vantage point. Your safety is paramount and Parks Victoria have created platforms and walkways for your enjoinment and safety.
