Since producing this moody image of Parkdale Pier I had a strong feeling that it would be a success. The deep moody colours and the simplicity of this pier against the open expanse of the Peninsula Bay made for that perfect composition. It was first displayed at a regular monthly art exhibit at the Substation in Newport where it received many comments and praise, but it wasn't until the print was warmly accepted and proudly displayed at the Steven Print Gallery in Richmond where sales began to flow. Poster Style Photographic Prints

Posters both vintage and modern have inspired me to introduce a poster style of photographic print. The photograph titled "Hobsons Bay The Strand" was on display at a recent exhibition held at The Substation Artists Market in Newport and received lots of interest. I have since produced 2 more poster style photographs to include in this new release series.  The new additions include "Williamstown" and "St Kilda Pier Melbourne". These prints are printed on Epson Enhanced Matt Paper using Epson UltraChrome K3 inks resulting in a professional high quality finish. Limited series production run of a maximum (50) only of each has commenced and are available through Steven Print Gallery in Richmond and Print Decor Gallery in Malvern. 2014 International Loupe Awards

The 2014 International Loupe Awards competition rules have changed with judging scores now requiring a higher score to achieve a bronze, silver and gold award. Nick Psomiadis of Nik Art Photography receives 2 Bronze and 1 Silver.
